Am Wochenende war mal wieder Turnier. Aoibheann hat in der A1 den 1. Platz gemacht. Leider fiel eine Stange und somit ist es keine Quali für die A2. Dennoch bin ich total stolz auf sie. Besonders, wo wir in der letzten Zeit immer wieder Probleme am Slalom hatten – und das scheint jetzt dank Umstellung des Trainings Geschichte zu sein 🙂
Last weekend we had again an agility-meeting. Aoibheann won the A1, sorryly with one mistake, so that it was no qualifacation run for the A2. But I am very proud on her. Especially as we had a big problem on the weaves the last time – and this seems to be history now.
Und wieder mal ein Turnier. Mäßig erfolgreich für die beiden Braunen. Sven und Face hatten einige Kommunikationsprobleme – auf gut deutsch: es lief überhaupt nicht rund. Aoibheann hatte im ersten Lauf noch ihr Hirn scheinbar zuhause gelassen, steigerte sich dann aber im Jumping und landete auf Platz 13 mit 2 Verweigerungen und 1 Fehler. Pebbles zeigte mal wieder, daß sie die hohen Sprünge nicht mehr schafft, verweigerte mehrfach im ersten Lauf. Dann aber die Überraschung im Jumping. Wir kamen wie durch ein Wunder ohne Fehler durch den extrem hakeligen Parcour und landeten schließlich auf Platz 3.
And again a meeting. Not really successful for the Brownies. Sven and Face had some big communication problems – to say it clear: it was not panning out. Aoibheann seemed to have forgotten her brain at home the first run, but became better in the jumping run and became 13th with one mistake and two denials. In the first run Pebbles showed again, that she is not longer able to jump the high jumps and denied several jumps. But in her second run she surprised me. Somehow we managed to get a clear run in the extremely irregular jumping run and got third place.
Und schon wieder ist es vorbei – das Nordseeturnier. Wie immer ein tolles Event. Wir hatten viel Spaß, es gab viel zu sehen und die Parcoure waren wie immer anspruchsvoll. Auch wenn es für uns oft nur zu Fehler-Läufen oder Dis-Läufen gereicht hat, sind wir mit allen drei Hunden sehr zufrieden und freuen uns schon jetzt auf nächstes Jahr.
And again it is gone – the north-sea meeting. Like ever a great event. We had lots of fun, there was a lot to see and the courses were ambitious. Even if we had only runs with mistakes or eleminations, we are very happy with all three dogs and are looking forward to next year.

Zunächst die Face: Sven und Face hatten wirklich ein tolles Turnier und leider haben oft wieder nur Kleinigkeiten ihnen im Weg gestanden. Das beste Ergebnis war der A-Lauf am Samstag mit einem V5, Platz 13.
First Face. Sven and Face really had a good meeting. Sorrily there were only some silly things, that passed their way. Best run was a run with a V5 and place 13 on Saturday.
Dann die Aoibheann: Aoibheann hat sich über die Tage wirklich gut gesteigert und ist sehr gut mit der ja doch aufgeheizten Atmosphäre klar gekommen. Ich bin wirklich stolz auf sie. Und ein wenig Fortschritte an unserem Slalomproblem haben wir auch gemacht.
Than Aoibheann. Aoibheann became better and better over the days and she got on well with the charged atmosphere. I am really proud on her. And there were also to see some progresses on our weave problems.
Heute, an Herrchens Geburtstag ging es ab zur 1. Qualifikation für die Deutsche Vereinsmeisterschaft nach Friesoythe. Das Turnier war sehr schön und super organisiert und wir hatten einen wundervollen Tag.
Today, on Svens birthday, we drove to the 1. qualification for the german team-championship to Friesoythe. The meeting was very nice and well organized and we had a wonderful day.
Aoibheann hatte drei sehr schöne Läufe, auch wenn Frauchen wirklich Prügel gebührt, daß sie es jedesmal wieder schafft, Fehler am Slalom zu provozieren. Die anderen Kleinigkeiten werden wir sicher mit etwas mehr Routine auch noch in den Griff bekommen.
Aoibheann had three very nice runs, even if somebody should beat Silvia, that she manages every time to provoke mistakes on the weaves. The other peanuts we will get under control with some more rountine.
Face und Sven hatten einen sehr schönen Jumping, der mit 1 Verweigerung auf Platz 3 endete. In der Prüfung zeigte sich auch bei den beiden ein Slalomproblem, was ebenfalls vom Menschen ausging (haben wir hier vielelicht momentan was im Wasser, was uns beeinflusst??).
Face and Sven had a very nice Jumping wich endet with 1 refusal on the third place. In the official run these two had a problems on the weaves too, which came from the human too (perhaps we have someting in our water at the moment, that has affected us??)
Und zuguter letzt meine Pebbles. 3 sehr schöne Läufe – 3 mal war eine Hürde unser Ende. In letzter Zeit merke ich mehr und mehr, daß ihr die hohen Sprünge schwerer fallen. Daher wird Pebbles nach Abschluß der Qualifiaktionsläufe jetzt auch in die Seniorenklasse wechseln. Ich glaube, dort wird sie dann auch wieder mehr Freude haben
And last but not least my Pebbles. 3 very nice runs – but 3 times was a hurdle our end. The last time I recognize more and more, that the high jumps causes difficulties to her. So Pebbles will go in the senior class after the ending of the qualification runs now. I think, there she will have more fun again.
Heute gings zum Osterturnier der Hoppers. Aufgrund der vielen Teilnehmer sind heute nur Aoibheann und Face gestartet. Pebbles hatte dafür ein nettes Training auf dem Übungsparcours und eine ausführliche Schwimmrunde im Tümpel der Kiesgrube.
Today we went to the easter-meeting of the Weser-Ems-Hoppers. As they had so much persons that wanted to start, we decided only to take part in with Face and Aoibheann. Pebbles had a nice training on the training ground and a long swimming-round in the tarm of the gravel-pit
Im Jumping 1 hat Aoibheann mich mit Frühstart überrascht, woraufhin die Starttechnik für Lauf 2 und 3 spontan in Platzposition geändert wurde und das auch klappte. Der A-Lauf war echt laufintensiv für den Menschen und nach 10 Tagen Norovirus für Frauchen nicht wirklich zu schaffen. So haben wir uns auf die Anfangssequenz konzentriert, was auch gut geklappt hat. Der A-Open war schon etwas besser, leider auch hier Frauchen an einer Stelle zu langsam und der Rückweg durch den Tunnel um zu schauen, wo sie bleibt nicht der Richtige.
In Jumping 1 Aoibheann surprised me with a jump in the gun, whereupon we changed our technique in starting from the down-position, which worked well. The first run was very much to run for the human and after 10 days norovirus it was too much for Silvia. So we concentrated on the first sequence only which worked quite well. The Open was better, but also here Silvia was not quick enough and the way back through the tunnel to look, where Silvia stays was not the right one.
Sven und Face hatten einen sehr sehr unrunden Jumping. Herrchen war wohl noch nicht ganz wach. Der A-Lauf sah deutlich besser aus. Leider hat Face mal wieder den Weitsprung ignoriert. Irgendwas hat sie gegen den?! Der A-Open war auch sehr schön mit einem Slalomfehler. Aber die zwei können echt zufrieden sein so ganz ohne Training so gut gelaufen zu sein!
Sven and Face had a very out-of-round jumping run. Sven was not really awake. The second run looked much better. Sorrily Face ignored again the longjump… Somehow it seems, she does not like it?! The open was very nice but with one mistake at the weaves. But the two can be very happy to have run so nice without training!
Heute waren wir seit langem (untrainiert) wieder auf einem Turnier. Für Pebbles war es die Entscheidung, ob sie noch weiter laufen wird oder in Rente geht. Sie hat mir sehr deutlich gezeigt, daß sie noch nicht in Rente möchte und ich freue mich sehr darüber. Auch wenn die Läufe alle im Dis endeten hat sie mir ihre Freude am Laufen deutlich gezeigt. Face und Sven hat die lange Pause nicht gut getan, die beiden müssen dringend wieder mehr trainieren. Das Tupfentier hatte es zeitweise etwas eilig und befand die rumstehenden Hindernisse zum Teil als überflüssig. Was mich allerdings sehr gefreut hat war, daß ihre Slalomeingänge sehr gut klappten. Auch im Golden Slalom, den wir leider nicht gefilmt haben. Süß war, wie fein sie gewartet hat, als Frauchen sich im Jumping verlaufen hat, wo es jetzt nun weiter geht. Frauchen hat sich fürs falsche Tunnelloch entschieden. Da klappte dann auch der Slalomeingang nicht, war in dem Winkel auch nahezu unmöglich.
Fazit: Wir sind sehr gut zufrieden, auch wenn wir uns mit den Lollies, die es für ein Dis gab, gut versorgt haben alle zusammen. Unten die Videos.
Today after a long break we went to an agility meeting again (totally untrained…). For Pebbles this day was to decide if she will retire or if she will keep on running meetings. She showed me very clear, that she does not want to retire, what made me very happy. Even if all our runs endet in a disqualification, she was so happy to run. The long training-break was not the best for Sven and Face, they really need to do some regular training again. The speckled-animal was a bit too quick from time to time and decided, that the hurdles partly were really needless. What made me really happy is the fact, that the entrances of the weaves worked quiet well. Even in the Golden Weaves, from what we sorryly have no video. And it was so cute, as I forgot the right way, how she stood there waiting for me to decide which way to take. It was the wrong way, I decided her to run. And of course, there even the weaves did not work. Nearly impossible to take this angle to work the weaves correct.
Conclusion: We are satisfied with the day, even if we now have enough lollipops (that we got for every disqualification). Here now the videos.
Das letzte Turnier des Jahres. Es war wunderschön. Eine tolle Halle eine tolle Organisation. Unsere Läufe waren für sehr nett, wenn sie auch in Dis oder Fehlern endeten. Es waren immer nur Kleinigkeit (wie z.B. daß das Tupfentier die Starthürde überflüssig fand und drunter durch lief).
The last meeting of the year. It was wonderul! A great hall and a great organisation. Our runs were very nice, even they endet in disqualifactions or mistakes. Always little things (like for excample that the speckled-animal thougth the start hurdle is not necessary and run under it).
Heute war es soweit. Ich bin seit heute 18 Monate alt und darf Agility starten. Da die Weser-Ems-Hoppers heute die Landesgruppenmeisterschaft veranstaltet haben, durfte ich also ran. Und was soll ich sagen? Ich habe natürlich gewonnen *grins* Frauchen meint ja, wir hätten Glück gehabt. Aber egal. Das ist erstmal meine erste Quali für die A2 – im ersten Start. Warum grinst Frauchen eigentlich seitdem nur noch blöde in der Gegend rum?
Face war auch klasse. Sie hatte im A-Open einen 4. Platz und somit tatsächlich ein bisschen Chance auf ein Podest in der Landesgruppenmeisterschaft. Leider hatte sie dann zwei Verweigerungen im Jumping. Aber die Läufe waren trotzdem schön.
Pebbles hatte einen kreativen Tag. Aber das offene Jumping konnte sie dann noch mit 0 Fehlern abschließen, bevor sie jetzt in eine längere Turnierpause geht.
Today it was time. I am 18 months old and am allowed to start in agility. As the Weser-Ems-Hoppers arranged the “reginal championships” today, I was allowed to run. And what shall I say? Of course I did win! *smile* Mummy said, we had lots of luck. But never mind! This is my first qualification for the A2 – in the first start. Why the hell mummy is grinning madly the whole day?
Face did very good aswell. She had a 4th place in the open run and so really a chance to become “reginal champion”. But sorrily she had two denials in the open jumping. But her runs were really very nice.
Pebbles had a very creative day. But in the open jumping she got a clean run. So she now goes in a longer meeting break.
